Is one Champions League Trophy enough for a club like Manchester Utd?

What do you think by the fact that Man U. was the richest club for years but only managed to win one of one C.League trophy and one Uefa cup which is for unlucky teams in the Champions League?





I am a Man U fan but feels just free and comfortble to ask questions against us because I'm not as sentimentalist as British fans...

Reply:They've never one the UEFA cup. They won the European Cup Winners Cup (now defunct) once, and the European Cup on two occasions.





In answer to your question, if you were to ask Alex Ferguson whether this was enough, he'd undoubtedly say no. That's a good enough answer for me.
Reply:thats one of the beauties about supporting a team like manchester united, your up onr moment then down the next and you stand by them no matter what 2 european cups plus a cup winners cup is not ideal but we can only get better.

Man Utd have never won the Uefa Cup.


They have won the trophy now called the Champions League once, but also as the previously known European Cup in 1999 and 1968 respectively.


They also won the European Cup Winners Cup which no longer exists, but was a trophy between the Champions League and Uefa Cup.
Reply:Fully agree with you there buddy, I guess that they just never had the freedom to spend all that money on quality players and rather chose to buy crappy players and rather settle for taking league titles
Reply:a single cup is never enough. it doesnt matter if its the carling cup or the champions league. Money is not enough. Real Madrid had the best players in the world and have won naught in the last three, four years. At least man u is in the club unlike Arsenal. (how sh*te are we this season?)
