Please help..?
Do not despair! Luckily you have time to augment your grades by resitting the exam so all is not lost.

At the moment you're no doubt suffering a crisis of confidence because the one subject you really wanted to do well in was the one subject you didn't do as well in. Don't worry - your crisis of confidence is to be expected - it just shows you're passionate about what you want to do! For anyone who's been under pressure to get a particular grade and then hasn't attained it, nine times out of 10 this is what happens.

But don't stress! You're obviously doing a bit of soul searching at the moment because of your situation, and that's no bad thing. Just when one door seems to close, another one will always open. However, you have the option to study really hard for the resit and go for that grade, if you really want it!

However, before even going down that route, how about finding out what your weak areas are? Get a practice paper from your teacher, ask them if they wouldn't mind marking it and go and complete it. Then you can really find out the areas you need to concentrate on.

If this is really what you want to do, don't let a minor setback and a lack of confidence stop you from attaining your goal. You can do it!
Reply:Hiya, Have you looked at the individual module marks you got for Biology? Perhaps you could re-sit the module you did worst in to imporve your overall mark! I re-sat one of my English Literature papers as I got a grade B overall due to getting an E in one exam! I pulled it up to a grade B, and ended up with a grade A overall. Ask your science teacher for advice on this. Either way, you shouldn't have a problem getting onto a radiography course at some university through clearing! Good Luck!
Reply:study hard and dont wast ur time

good luck
Reply:well since you know you have to improve on that subject, study alittle bit harder. and put your mind to it that you are going to pass, you can do anything that you want as long as you believe in yourself and apply yourself. good luck. you will pass it the next time.
Reply:Lucy,

First of all Congrats on passing everything else now remember that even the greatest minds were not perfect.

You need to focus and work hard, only by truly dedicating yourself to this will you achieve it. Give it your 100% undevided attention so that you will be ready and able and will blow the test out of the water next time you take it.

Look for reference material and or practice exams but give it your all.

Good luck and god bless.
Reply:take practice tests. Have someone else go over your practice tests with you, and see which areas you still have to study.

Keep on taking more practice tests, and having others look over it with you.

Also, read some biology books. Try all different levels. high school books tend to be easier to read, even if they don't go into much depth. You may need to take a step back, review high school biology, and then go back into the big stuff when you really understand it.

There are also good videos on biology. Some are on Public Broadcasting or other documentary type channels, and they're often available at the college library. Again, they don't go into that much depth, but they help teach one or two things to make the boring text books more readable.

Hope this helps. Good luck. And don't worry about failing once, that's what experience is.
Reply:Do not fret! I was in your position a few years back. I wanted to go to University to study BA Archaeology and I needed B-B-C grades, with a 'B' in ancient history.

I got a 'C' instead, giving me B-C-C. So I though, 'Oh no! I'm ruined!' But I still tried, ringing up the University in question continually (lines were jammed with callers like me so it literally took over 50 goes and just over 6 hours to get through). Long story short, they still had a place for me!

So do not despair- ring up the University and keep trying- good luck!
Reply:i think you need to believe in yourself!! you can resit them again, and im sure youll manage a c, although i know how rock solid it is!! talk to your teachers, they will know what you can achieve. u have to give your dreams a chance, otherwise youll always be thinking what if! whats the worst that can happen if you dont get your grades? have a gap year and try again? think of all the stuff you could do in a year!! just believe in yourself!!
