Ok,so there's this mouse.....?

Who happens to have taken up residence in my house....wow that rhymed.Anyways,at first I was like GROSS,and set up a bunch of regular moustraps with cheese.Well,he snapped em all,and got away with the cheese.I was like wow, this little guy's sneaky! So,I then decide to get tricky myself and bait the traps with strawberry cream cheese.Four different traps mind you.By this time,a week ahs passed and he is not afraid of humans,he darts all over the kitchen and has scared the daylights out of my daughter.Ok,so he manages to get the c.cheese outta all the flippen traps, without even setting them off. :| I throw the traps away and contemplate what to do.I've only seen the one. So,two weeks into this escapade im chillin on my computer, and notice he's sitting by my laundry basket nibbling on the wood.I pick up a piece of my leftover sandwhich and my cup, with intent of bait and trap.Well,he takes the food from my hand,my heart melts.I can't catch him,so how can I HUMANELY get rid of my "roommate"?

Ok,so there's this mouse.....?
I have successfully used the TOMCAT Live Catch Mouse Trap to humanely capture a few unwanted guests. The directions say not to bait the trap, but I found that a little peanut butter dabbed inside works wonders. Just make sure to check the trap regularly, so the little guy doesn't suffer or dehydrate. Also, you should check around your house for entry points (if a pencil fits, so will a mouse) and seal them off. And remember, mice do carry diseases, so you should be careful: avoid handling the mouse, and clean droppings, etc. with bleach solution. Good luck!
Reply:I love all Gods little people in fur coats, wish I had him. So as far as you go you should be happy with him and feed him. He will make you a neat pet.
Reply:Try sticky paper. I don't know the exact name of it.......but your mousy friend will just stick to the paper and you can move him to a cat owner's house. If you catch him and you want to keep him......make sure he has a cage that is "smart mouse" proof. Just set the paper somewhere with a piece of food on it (preferably in the middle of the paper) and hope that your mouse problem is solved. GOOD LUCK!
Reply:Seems like he really like you. I suggest you just live with him, maybe get him a cage and a wheel and everything.
Reply:Use a glue trap...most of the time just the feet get stuck. Then i your brave enough you can remove him from the trap and let him go.....however if you don't kill it or take it far away...it's just going to come back inside..

You could catch it and keep it like a pet..my sister did that once. He got used to us so we could hold him and play with him.
Reply:are you sure he's not someone else's lost pet. i mean, for him to take food from your hand is pretty daring for a wild mouse. and he sounds kinda cute.
