Did you have a big baby? Was your bump big too?

Just want to get an idea of bump size i relation to the finished product! Lol...also did you manage to deliver without a C Section?

i had to have my son at 34 weeks due to preclampsia, but he weighed 7lbs 11oz! i had to have a c-section because his head was so big. but here's the crazy part: he was so big and there was so much extra fluid, that even tho i was only 34 weeks, my belly mesaure 48 weeks! and im 5'2!
Reply:I had a 8lbs 7 oz little boy born at 38 weeks, I delivered naturally. My belly was huge! I was huge!
Reply:My final ultrasound (around week 39) showed an 11 pound baby ... luckily, he was just under 10 :) And no, I didn't manage to deliver without a C-section. I was scheduled for one, only because we weren't sure if my bones could handle one his size. And it was a good thing I had one b/c not only was he weighty, but he was stocky and they almost had to bring out the vacuum.





Because I was heavy to begin with and it was my first pregnancy, I'm not really sure if my bump was proportionate to the size of my son. I thought it was pretty big, but that may have been because I had nothing else to compare it too
Reply:No. I did have a big bump though, it was small compared to the barn I was building...it turned that bruise color..purplish and was sore, it moved down a little bit and throbbed, luckily I had ice.....never had to do any C Section though...all my heifers have large uteri.....no problems !!!
Reply:Early on in my second pregnancy I was big and they did an ultrasound early because my ob/gyn thought it might be twins. I wound up have a 9 lb 7 oz baby with a normal vaginal delivery. I was sore but no C section. Good Luck.

Reply:My bump was massive. My son was 7lb 12oz and 20 1/2 inches long and head was 14 in....not huge. I delivered naturally.
Reply:i had 8 and half pound baby boy, i looked five monts, i must carry towards my back, when i came back onto the ward the girl in the bed next to me asked how much he weighed she could not believe it because i was very very neat she told me she thought at the most i would have was a 6lb baby, natural, but it only felt a littl uncomfortable my last baby was 6lb 90z
