Will I be able to graduate 8th grade?

My graduation in in about 2 months and I just received a letter "recommending" me to do this summer school program" On the letter it says if I fail one class, I won't be able to attend graduation. I got REALLY confused because its not the end of 4th quarter yet and at my school a FAIL/PASS is determined if u can get at least 8 points throughout the whole year for each subject. (so that's a D average for a course throughout the yr.) (A= 5 points, B=4 points, C= 3 points, D= 2 points, F=0 points.) I also have managed to get 8 points already in my report card even though its not the end of the yr. yet, but why did they send me this letter anyways. Does this mean i can't attend the graduation ceremony?





Also during my second quarter report card, I had gotten a "below average" grade for 2 subjects) But i have improved those grade in 3rd quarter. Is this letter probably to help me a little bit or a option for me to attend if i tend to fail any more classes in 4th quarter??

Reply:umm well i think u still have a chance to graduate but before u get ur hopes up u need to speak to ur teacher and ask him/her if ur passing or failing ur classes. or ask the teacher for which ever class they gave u the letter for to see what u can do to pass and what grade u need on the next test in order to pass the class for graduation. and that letter is a midterm warning meaning there sending u a letter from a specific class to let u know ur in jepardy of failing that class. so ask ur teacher or ur guidance councelor if u have one. k good luck
