Please can you help (geography)?

i have to do this peice of geog for tomorro and i just cant get enough info,

can you help me please.

they are short answer questions

they are : -

a) Outline the sources of energy likely to affect a coastline. (4 marks).

b) Examine the factors which influence the size of energy inputs into a coastline. (4 marks)

c) How would it help in managing a section of coastline to think of it as a system? (7 marks)

answers very much appreciated.

Please can you help (geography)?
Energy inputs to coastline? Strange question.

a.) I suppose wind, underwater currents, seismic activity.

b.) The length of the coastline and the size of the adjacent body of water determine the size of the input of energy. Land barriers help to absorb and deflect energy.

c.) In a system, all the different parts are interrelated. So if you do something adverse (bad) to the coastline, that might upset the balance of the system.
Reply:sorry im doing my homework cant help, looking it up would be faster than people just guessing and giving you wrong answers.
Reply:Energy forces affecting coastline....would be ice, storms, wind, water (pounding waves/erosion), etc.

Will schools even be interested in me? (GPA, grade wise)?

Well, during my freshman and sophmore years i wasnt exactly the best student. I did well but i still managed to get some not so good grades

Freshman year: B, C+, D+, D+, B+, C-, B-

Sophmore Year: kind of like freshman year (dont have exact grades) but i had 1 F

Junior and Senior year: Ive really stepped up, junior year ive had almost straight A's all through the year, besides the A's the only other grades ive gotten was a B nothing lower than a B-

Im not completely done with senior year but its the same thing, im getting almost straight A's with some Bs

Now, will colleges really look down upon me with the bad grades i got freshman and sophmore year and that my GPA isnt that great because of it?

Do you think there is anything i can do to make me more appealing to collages?

Will sending a letter from the principle saying that i didnt fully express my knowledge (or some jibber jabber like that) until junior year help?

Will schools even be interested in me? (GPA, grade wise)?
OK, I have a son who's a college freshman now and he had a similar experience to yours. Didn't take things seriously until 2nd half of soph year. Colleges strongly took into account that he was on an upward trajectory as he went through h.s. rather than the other way around. When he wrote his essay he talked about what made him start taking his education much more seriously. In addition he worked really hard before he took the SATs and got excellent scores ( last one - 2150 out of 2400). He ended up with offers to several really good schools and even got a couple of scholarships.

So it really is not too late for you. Just don't try and BS the admissions people; they will see right through you. Try to be as sincere and honest as possible and continue your hard work and it will be fine. I promise.
Reply:Many colleges dont focus on Freshman (and sometimes Sophomore) year GPA's. Its Junior and Senior year they're most concerned about.

Obviously, it depends on what type of school your planning to attend. JC's or smaller State University's will be much easier to get into. It can even be better in some cases to attend a JC or SU and transfer to a "4-year". You can take your GED courses and test the college waters without jumping in head first. I recommend doing extra ciricular activities. Those look great on your applications. Go ahead and apply to several schools, you're sure to get accepted somewhere.
Reply:Try applying to state schools. These are a lot easier to get into than private colleges. In CA, the top 30% are pretty much guaranteed a spot in the lower level state schools, top 12% can get into any state school they want.

If there are certain private colleges you're looking at, contact the dean of admissions or somebody you know who goes there and see if you even qualify or should bother with the hassle of applying.

you'll get in somewhere. just think positive.
Reply:It might work for you. Colleges will see that you have improved.
Reply:Colleges will take into account the fact that you have improved over the years. It's certainly better than the reverse, doing well and then getting worse. You probably wouldn't get into Harvard, but hey, join the rest of the club. If you continue to do well in school, and have other appealing qualities to schools (a good essay, participation in activities, etc.) there are definitely schools out there willing to accept you.
Reply:Colleges really like to see improvement. While your grades certainly weren't stellar, you really, really improved.

It's also great that you are in extra curriculars. If you can join another one and do volunteer work. A letter of reccommendation would be really good to explain what happened your first two years. I have a friend who had a 1.5 going into junior year and really steped it up and got into a really good school. You'll be fine.
Reply:You might be ok ur showing colleges that you really stepped up your game during your last two years. I would suggest mentioning to ur college about any jobs you had, sports, or extra currilcular activites. Colleges do look at grades but they look more at if your unique and if your going to bring something to their school
Reply:Congratulations on turning your life around. Because the freshman and sophomore years have pulled your overall average down, you may have to start out at a community college and then transfer later on to a four-year college. If you continue to do well and show that you are now living up to your potential, an AA degree will make colleges take you seriously and that high school stuff will be long behind you. Do get that letter of recommendation from your principal, though, and one from each teacher in whose class you did well. All of those will serve you well in the near future. And don't forget to use spell check.
Reply:Its a little shaky... but if you have other stuff to compensate you might be ok, community service is a big must, if you received any awards make sure to include those, if you need to write an essay ask your english teacher to take a good look at it, and correct any errors for you.

On Christian fundamentalists - Where do they get thier clothes from???

I work in a place with a typical do gooder, moaning about everything, how everything must be a sign or a duty or something or other related to God and the church. She dresses like a pilgrim from the 16th century YEP sandles in all!!! Now in chatting to my peers here one thing dawned on me, I've NEVER noticed anywhere that stocks these silly clothes or some of the wierd gear she has managed to stock up on! Have any of you noticed that? C'mon teh old bible bashers are pretty obvious given teh way they dress and that most of the time but it is odd how some just manage to get that gear! They also all seem to be highly strung and discontent with thier own lives. Poor souls! Anyway can anyone answer my question?

On Christian fundamentalists - Where do they get thier clothes from???
Dude does your hair really look like that?

Hope not, for your sake
Reply:Someone who can't even spell 'the' (teh??) and 'their' (thier?) shouldn't go around insulting other people.

I know what you mean about the clothes though, it's the same for the 'petuli oil wearing, hippy types'. I've never seen those clothes sold either...they must make them themselves.

Can I get into Oxford University, UK for Economics even though I resat a year?

I'm currently on a gap year, and applied for Oxford.

I ORIGINALLY DID POORLY IN MY GCSE AND AS LEVELS. 8 Bs 1A in my GCSE'S and 1 U, 2 Cs, 1 D in my AS's.

So, in 2005/6 I resat Year 12. In that Year I took on 3 new Alevels and resat my current ones. By August 2007 I managed to get the following:

Mathematics (a)

Economics (a)

French (a)

History (a)

Business Studies (a)

Design and Technology (a)

Critical Thinking (a)

General Studies (a)

I hear Oxford don't care so much about General Studies though. I also resat my GCSE's and managed to bring the grades up to:

9 A*s, 2 c's

I go to an independent school in London. In my spare time I have been doing martial arts (thai boxing) since I was 7. I play the piano and guitar. I have done community service and have had 2 sales jobs so far, and 2 work experience placements - 1 at abn amro - trading. I am a member of the Royal Economic Society. I also own a profitable online software company.

Do I stand a chance of getting in as I've resat?

Can I get into Oxford University, UK for Economics even though I resat a year?
Honestly? I think it would be worth your time to apply to Oxford. You've got an interesting background, and you did very well the second time through on the A levels. I think you stand a shot, but absolutely have some other universities as alternate choices in case Oxford does not accept you. Because, thing is? Even if you were a perfect candidate, Oxford still might not accept you. They simply get so many good applicants.

Pick some other good universities, which are a bit less difficult to get into than Oxford, and apply to them as well.

Interesting chem question involving steam and temperature, etc. Specific heat?

Holy enthalpy! Batman and Robin have been captured by the Riddler! Because he is criminally insane, he has given them their choice of two equally complicated and easily escapable death traps. "Which will it be? Shall I drop you into a vat of boiling water or lock you in a room filled with 100 C steam?" Unbeknownst to the Riddler, the Dynamic Duo has managed to contact you, their butler Alfred, to ask your informed scientific opinion on the matter. The problem is, Batman can't swim, and Robin's suit can only withstand 45 kJ/mol of heat energy. Quick, before the Riddler gets impatient and just decides for himself! Which option gives our heroes the best chance for survival?

I don't need the survival question answered - I'll try to do that myself. But if you could help me out and tell me:

Assuming that the surface body temperature of Batman and Robin are well below 100 C, what physical constant is relevant to this conundrum??

I was thinking specific heat ?

How can I find out if I have a learning disability in higher math (algebra, ect)?

I was always horrible at math but somehow managed to graduate from high school by barely getting a c in pre algebra. I'd like to know where I can go to get help. I know many of the good jobs out there are math and science related and I'm concerned I won't be able to get one unless I can learn advanced math, which of course means I have to get help and find out if I have a disability. Thank you.

How can I find out if I have a learning disability in higher math (algebra, ect)?
One aspect of a learning disability is that the person struggles in just one academic area. However, more than likely the problem is how you have been taught math. I suggest you go back as far as you need to go to pick up concepts you have missed. If that means returning to some elementary concepts then so be it.
Reply:You should get tested by a Psychologist.
Reply:I think you'd be ahead to persue a career that doesn't involve math.
Reply:The two hemispheres of the brain are dominant at different tasks. The right hemisphere is concerned with abstract thinking, geometry, mathematical concepts, while the left hemisphere deals with sentence construction, vocabulary, emotion etc. You have a disability if your verbal IQ is at or above normal while your mathematical IQ is below normal.

I believe such IQ tests are conducted. Find out from your guidance counsellor

I need tips on how to study!!!!???

I never used to study when I was younger I realized after the first semester of my freshmen year in college that I cant get by anymore. So now even when I try to study I can only study for like 15 til I go nuts. Even with this I have managed to get by with a few A's and C's but mostly B's. I want to get mostly A's. My parents tell me that Im smart but I am wasteing my god given talent by not studying.

I try to study but it seems I get distracted by everylittle thing. At first I blamed living in the dorms casue I was always screwing around with my friends. SO I tried to go to the library but I would talk to anyone I remotely knew or just start walking around after about a half hour of studying. So I moved off campus and locked myself in my room but then I would start watching tv so I took the tv out of my room. Then I would play video games so I got rid of those. I stoped listening to music. But I then start to day dream and now Im wasteing time on Yahoo awsnsers. Help!!!!

I need tips on how to study!!!!???
I hear you. I worked 30-60 hrs a week through three years of high school. Working at night doing homework in the first two or three classes then sleeping through the classes that would let me. I managed to get a scholarship for college. That was really the first time in my life that I ever found myself needing to study. Find friends in your classes that you can discuss the subject with. Invite people over for a study group. Involving other people I think will be your best bet. It keeps you focused on the task at hand.
Reply:listen boy, someone has to beat you!!!You are like my brother! You are probably smart but lazy person!!Just a few people in this planet enjoy reading, learning, etc. and a lot of people finished university! Can you imagine why?Not because they are so smart but they are stubborn!Press yourself,it's for your better future! You can probably find better job with than without studies!Think about money, maybe it will help you!It helps to me,I graduated half year before of end of my studies,I was the youngest professor in my region, and now am enjoying my life...and I didn't like reading... good luck
Reply:There are no magic bullets for studying. YOU must make up your mind that studying is an important endeavor! As adults, we must ALL do things we don't like (come, on, be real... you don't really want to study... it's OK, be honest!) Now that you've admit it, let's get to work. You have the control!

Get out your calendar and do some planning. How many hours do you need to study. How many hours are you WILLING to study. Do you really need A's?

Book your study time and stick to it. Then book some time to goof off. Don't try to study for HOURS at a time, even if you've planned it that way. Take some frequent breaks. Have a bite to eat, but you know what you need to stay away from (video games, oooh, Yahoo! Answers).

Right now it seems like you don't have the desire to do what you know needs to be done. Maybe you shouldn't be in college right now. Maybe you should backpack across Europe, or work for a while (just remember, someone has to say "Do you want fries with that?" Do you want it to be you?)

Good luck.
Reply:Go to the doctor say you ADD and get some Ritalin you will study for . like 2 days straight. Or a realistic approach I like candy sometimes and since I don't have it very often this works. I get a big bag of kisses and I will have one every time I learn a page It got me through high school. What ever works for you thought .

Is there a way to transfer the contents from my Dell Inspiron 1000 disk drive to my new Hp Pavilion notebook?

I received the Dell Inspiron 1000 like 3 years ago as a gift from a pawn shop. So much for warranty! It went dead completely a few months ago after numerous time of replacing the a/c adapter for power failure. So far I've managed to remove the disk drive from it and heard I could use something called a Usb Enclosure to transfer what's on it to my new laptop. Any ideas?

Is there a way to transfer the contents from my Dell Inspiron 1000 disk drive to my new Hp Pavilion notebook?
yeah you can buy "hard drive enclosures" from places such as newegg.com or tigerdirect.com

the old harddrive goes into the hard drive enclosure, and then the enclosure plugs into your new computer via USB.

What are some similarities between Sparta an Athens?

Besides having three initial economic and social classes and

both fought side by side to defend Greece's independence in 490 B.C. against Persia in the Persia Wars which both managed to become dominating powers in Ancient Greece.

I need 3 more...

What are some similarities between Sparta an Athens?
Got it. They both had slaves. More so in Sparta, where there were about 10 slaves for every citizen, which is one reason they had to be able to fight.

Lots of gay sex.

They both lost to Thebes at one point, after first Athens was the main power and then Sparta.
Reply:You know, I am having trouble with this one... they were very different City States. i could go on and on about differences but simulates? they both had large alliances of of other Greek states which they lead, the Spartans with the Peloponnese league and the Athens with their protectorate "allies" in the Aegean, many of whom revolted in the 2nd Peloponnesian war. and i dearly apologize but i can think of only minor things. woman married around the age of 15, both states considered them selves to be the best, the just, the correct way of being, but of course that is how every country/state feels even today.

hope this little bit of information helped somewhat...
Reply:Spartan Women were reasonably independent and required to be educated and physically fit. Athenian women had to stay at home and had no rights.

Sparta was a oligacy (2 kings) and Athens a democracy.

Sparta = Dorian Settlers / Athens = Ionian settlers

Sparta = Land Army / Athens = Naval Power

Athenians loved philosophy and literature, the Spartans wrote no literature (comparable to athens) and loved being soldiers.

Spartans were always on a war footing, Athenians loved Peace.

Breastfeeding after reduction???

I had my breasts reduced 5 years ago.

One of my milk ducts was cut due to an inverted nipple and the other was fine.

I am nearly 6 months pregnant and I'm wondering if anyone else breastfed after reduction surgury.

I also am panicking because I will only be able (if at all) go from one side.

I feel it will be better to bottlefeed.

Plus I am having a C-sec which makes everything harder!!

Has anyone else managed to breastfeed sucessfully after surgury????

Breastfeeding after reduction???

People can, hope it works out for you!
Reply:You can breastfeed after having surgery, even if one of your milk ducts was cut - you have many more.

If your nipple and areola are still attached to the breast tissue beneath them, there's a good chance you'll be able to nurse, although you might have some minor difficulties. A good lactation consultant can provide the support you need.

Having a cesaerean just means your milk will come in a day or two later.
Reply:yes i have!

Ive lost my left fall. tube 3 mo. ago, Now a week ago I found out I have ENDOMETRIOSIS. I want children!?

3 months ago I had a laparoscopy/laparotomy for my ectopic pregnancy which resulted in the loss of my left fallopian. and approximately a month or so I had pain again. Since I've been abstinate ruled out ectopic. I got an ultrsound and saw a 5 cm hematoma they said. Well 3 days before my 2 week follow up I was sent to the ER and soon admitted in for surgery. There my physican found that I had a severe case with the ENDOMETRIOSIS and my right tube was blocked...when my mother beared the news the next day I was in tears b/c I am 19 yrs old but the doctor managed to successfully unblock my right tube. I've always been a healthy individual. I want children, but I want them in 10 years. Now they say I'm lucky to have 5 years. In 2-3 months I developed a highly severe case. It's astonishing to me. Now I want to know...what is the pro's to my situation? I already know the cons. Will I be able to conceive a healthy pregnancy if possible for me to be pregnant and so forth. Please n thanks

Ive lost my left fall. tube 3 mo. ago, Now a week ago I found out I have ENDOMETRIOSIS. I want children!?
The pro's are that you did not have to have a hysterectomy as of yet, and that they were unable to unblock your tube. I only have one ovary myself, and I have endometriosis. You are young, yes, and I would not say, go out and just get pregnant to get pregnant. You sound like a very smart young lady and you know that reality is that you do not have the 10 years that you wanted to conceive. If you want a baby, you realize you will have to do so before then. I wish you all the luck there is. I guess you need to look within yourself, and decide if you truly do want children or not. If you do, then you will know what to do!

Dee
Reply:Treatment of endometriosis may involve either drugs or surgery, and sometimes both. Since endometrial tissue depends on estrogen to grow, physicians prescribe drugs that change the body's estrogen balance and halt endometrium growth. These drugs include high doses of birth control pills and drugs that halt ovulation and menstruation, including danazol and a class of drugs called gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogues. If medications do not work, the endometrium tissue may be surgically removed using laparoscopy. Most commonly the diseased tissue is destroyed by means of lasers attached to the laparoscope. In severe cases, a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) may be necessary. For most women, the symptoms of endometriosis disappear following menopause.

Reply:Get your IVF-invitro fertilization treatment in India .IVF treatment, IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all types of medical treatment and surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as some of the surgery including ivf treatment is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your treatment and surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The doctors are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. I recently also read about a Chinese couple facilitated by forerunners healthcare were able to get their baby by IVF and a surrogate mother.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full treatment for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.I strongly recommend this company to you as they can be of great help to you. Hope this helps.

Hal.dll missing?
To restore missing system files, go on the start menu and click Run. In the box, type "sfc /scannow" and press OK. Windows should check all the sytem files and restore any missing ones. You might need the XP CD if there's any missing.
Reply:Sorry I didn't realise exactly what the problem was. John L's answer is basically what I would have suggested had I realised that you couldn't access the operating system at all. Sorry =( Report It

Reply:Boot the Windows operating system CD and choose the option to ""repair" (you want the recovery console, This option will prompt you for the Windows installation to use (usually 1), the administrators password (if no password press enter) and will allow you to restore the proper file. At the MS-DOS prompt type the below command.

expand x:\i386\hal.dl_ y:\windows\system32\

Y r some people prejudice against disabled people?

Is it b/c they think they're better than they are, or b/c they think they can't manage to any of the tasks they can? A friend of mine told me that we all have srtengths and weaknesses, it's just that others perform or learn differently than the average person. I have ADD and some times when I would apply for a job in the past and I would tell b honest and tell the people about a slight disadvantage about myself, they would turn me down, but they wouldn't admit that it was b/c of that aspect of

myself perhaps b/c they know that discriminating somebody w/ a disabilty is illegal and They could get in trouble for denying me a job. I work now, but I just want to understand y there are bigots?

Y r some people prejudice against disabled people?
i been there!

i feel ya!
Reply:I personally believe that the reason any person is prejudice against any other person, whether it be a disability, or race or ethnicity. Is because they have a need to feel they are superior to some one else or another group. This is probably because they feel inferior in some way to their own peers, or group.

This may also be because of ignorant hatred being taught as a young person and passed down generation after generation.

All of the reasons can be summed up in one word "Ignorance"

God bless terry b
Reply:I think some people may not understand a disability a person has, and that not understanding makes them uncomfortable being around the person. Then again some people just look down on people that are the slightest bit different from themselves. I really cannot explain why people feel the way they do. All people do have weakness and straights, and should be looked at for their individual ability's not the label they may have.
Reply:Sometimes being honest, is being stupid. Don't tell anyone about a hidden disability during a job interview. You are not legally required by law to do it and it is by law illegal for them to ask you.

If you admit to this little "disadvantage" than what big "disadvantage" have you got that you didn't mention?
Reply:I too have a small disability that has caused me some problems in the work place. I have learnt that you are under NO OBLIGATION to reveal this disability during your interview. You wait until you are HIRED and then disclose it in the first week. IF they fire you after your hired and after you disclosed, then you can sue them. And they know this so they will not fire you.

DO NOT DISCLOSE your disability in your interview. Do not call it a weakness. Find something else to call a weakness.

Reply:I don't think in general people are prejudiced against disabled people. I think they want little to do with a person when they see them self first and foremost as broken in some way.

I am a disability advocate and I spend nearly all of my time doing disability advocacy. And yet my disability rarely comes up. I was interviewed on TV yesterday about the work I do and my disability was never brought up. I demonstrate that my disability does not prevent me from accomplishing my goals through action.

Too many times I see people whose identity is wrapped up in their label of disability. I was once criticized online because I didn't tell people what my disability was soon enough in the conversation. Years later they still doubt my disability because it seems unnatural to them that it isn't one of the first things I tell about myself.

ADD is not a slight disadvantage. When you say that you are diminishing yourself. ADD is a disability. You can use your ADD to your advantage - ex. utilize a spell checker when others would be expected to know to spell correctly.

Your disability is essentially invisible, mine is not. But in a job interview I prove by my actions that my disability is irrelevant. Sure, it is obvious I will need job accommodations - but I unquestionably prove that I can do the job and the fact that the way I accomplish it is with job accommodation is irrelevant.

When people with disabilities stop diminishing their own self worth other will stop too.

Better read your course material and then answer these questions yourself. What kind of aide would you be if you rely on others to answer your test/homework questions and then tell your students that they have to find their own answers?
Reply:This is obviously and exam of some kind that you are taking to be an education aide. If you feel the need to cheat on it, then you have no business in the education field at all. Good grief!

Help with maths?

basically im screwed because i have my C1 exam in january and im doing really bad...

basically

a) how do you suggest revising

b) there is this one question that i've been trying to do...im sure its really easy but...

the curve C has equation y=4x^2+((5-x)/x)) x cannot = 0

the point P is on C and has x-coordinate 1.

show that the value of f'(x) at P is 3

i've managed that one..

then

find equation of the tangent to C at P

then

this tangent meets the x axis at point (k,0)

find value of k

cheers

its a level by the way

Help with maths?
the curve C has equation y=4x^2+((5-x)/x)) x cannot = 0

the point P is on C and has x-coordinate 1.

show that the value of f'(x) at P is 3

i've managed that one..

How did you do the derivative?

Did you do it this way?

y=4x^2+((5-x)/x))

y = 4 x^2 + 5/x - 1

y = 4 x^2 + 5 x^(-1)

y' = 2 * 4 * x - 5 * x^(-2)

y' = 8 x - 5/ x^2

at x = 1, y' = 8 - 5 = 3.

then

find equation of the tangent to C at P

then

You have just shown that the derivative at x = 1 is 3.

The slope of the tangent line at a point is the derivative

at that point.

The slope of the tangent line is 3.

The equation of the tangent line is (y - f(1) ) = 3 * (x-1)

From

y = 4 x^2 + 5/x - 1

we get

f(x) = 4 x^2 + 5/x - 1

and

f(1) = 4 + 5 - 1 = 8

The equation of the tangent line is (y - 8) ) = 3 * (x-1)

or y = 8 + 3 (x - 1)

or y = 3 x + 5

When y = 0, what does x equal?

3 x + 5 = 0

3 x = - 5

x = -5/3

this tangent meets the x axis at point (k,0)

find value of k

k = -5/3

Never mind though, i hear McDonald's are starting a recruiting campaign in the new year.
Reply:in the equation substitute the values for x,y----(k,0) and find the value of k...
Reply:You need a personal tutor!
Reply:As you've managed the first part of the question, you're not a lost cause. I think it might help if you draw a rough sketch. Remember that the tangent at the point where it meets the curve has exactly the same gradient as the curve, but it's a straight line of course so you need y=mx +c. You can find the graident of the curve by differentiation. Once you have the equation of the tangent, the last part is easy.

"Amyl nitrate (C5H11NO2) is a vasodilator. A research student found a method for making this compound on the internet. Some of the details were downloaded and are given below.

Dissolve 14.5g of potassium nitrate (KNO2) in 8ml of water and in a separate vessel mix 15g(18ml) of amyl alcohol C5H11OH with 30g of concentrated sulphuric acid. Cool the latter and add it slowly to the solution of the nitrite with stirring.

C5H11OH + KNO2 + H2SO4 --%26gt; C5H11NO2 + H2O + KHSO4

a) Which reactant or reactants is or are in excess?

b) If the student used the method above, calculate the maximum amount of amyl nitrite formed. Assume the reaction goes to completion.

c) The student successfully followed the method above and managed to make 12g of the product. Calculate the percentage yeild of amyl nitrite obtained in the preparation."

Reacting Masses - Help!?
a) Reactants in excess: Sulfuric acid and KNO2

b) Limiting reagent: Amyl alcohol

Max amount of amyl nitrate formed

= 15 / 88 x (60 + 11 + 14 + 32)

= 19.94318181

= 20 g (2 significant figures)

c) 12 / 20 x 100%

60%

Chemistry help - Reacting Masses?
It is basically all about molecular weights.

C5H11NO2 = 117g/mole

KNO2 = 85 g/mole

C5H11OH = 88g/mole

H2SO4 =98 g/mole

H2O = 18g/mole

KHSO4 = 136 g/mole

a) You have to work out the number of moles of each reactant you have.

KNO2 = 14.5g/ 85g/mole = 0.17moles

C5H11OH = 15g/88g/mole = 0.17moles

H2SO4 = 30g / 98 g/mole = 0.30 moles

Sulphuric acid in excess as there are extra moles.

b) As you use 0.17moles of reactants, you get 0.17moles of each of the products.

C5H11NO2 = 0.17 moles = 0.17 * 117g/mole = 19.89 g

c) 12g / 19.89g * 100% = 60% yield

Why is it that...?

Why is it that some people do their homework, study hard and get help from teachers and manage to get mostly B's, C's and an A or two, when some other people don't do much of that and get A's?

Why is it that...?
some people do , and some people don't ...your right.
Reply:It's natural talent.

Some people need help and studying to know that 2+2=4.

Some people just know it.

College, however, will kick those natural talent kids' butts though. Everything you think you know just isn't going to cut it. Those who study hard will be rewarded nicely!

I'd say a lot has to do with how you study and go about your work and some is just natural intelligence.

How did we survive without cel phones?

I mean really now! "Honey, don't forget to bring home a gallon of milk", "I'm running late, I'll be there is 5 minutes", "HELP! My baby is choking!"

What did we do? How did we manage? How many people died b/c we couldn't call for help!

How did we survive without cel phones?
You don't miss something that you never had...You know like stuff that they will invent in twenty years we will wonder the same thing about...But what you have now doesn't concern you because you don't know about it yet. Life is a little easier with cell phones I must agree!! Oh I am so glad that the days of looking for a payphone, or running by a friends house to use the phone are over....Remember the bag phones people first put in their cars?? LOL it is funny to think about how far we have come!
Reply:It is a convenience not a necessity.
Reply:We can live without cell phones.

But sometimes the cell phones help us a lot.
Reply:Labtops, Email. We need some type of electronic communication. None of us could addjust to not having it.
Reply:How many people have died because someone was yapping on the phone while driving and not paying attention?

I survived just fine without one, and now I hate the one I have. I leave it off.
Reply:We survived relatively peacefully.

I admit, I like having a cellphone in case of an emergency. The only problem is, when you're in the middle of nowhere, with no one around to help (ie: where you really NEED a cellphone), you don't get any reception.

And yeah... people yapping while driving and the deluge of accidents caused by such...

I think it evens out.
Reply:Never had a problem as there was always a desk or home phone available. Infact due to this cellphone my private time has become less. Anyone can call me up even when I dont want to be found, they find me. :( I dont like using a cellphone, but I dont have a choice. I have to keep it ON and stand aloof while strangers murder my privacy.
Reply:Cell phones are terrible for calling 911 with, you're usually put on hold. People still had phones at work and at home.

Will it catch up to you if your medicore or average in math, in college?

Firstly let me start off by saying i'm a 3.5 average student. In my whole high school career I gotten by math okay not fully understanding the concepts of math especially algebra 2 and advance math, but manage to always have B- or C+. I'm afraid once I get into college this lack of fundamenal math knowledge will come back to hunt me and cause me trouble. So basically I'm asking will it be okay if I'm average in math. Granted if I study, but courses like college algebra, Statictics, and Phycis, I will probaly lose my 3.5 gpa and be a college dropout. I need insight on this, thanks I will appeciate it.

P.S I know I spelled it wrong typing very fast.

Will it catch up to you if your medicore or average in math, in college?
The thing with math is, you have to study it and do your homework religiously. You won't be a college drop out because you have a hard time with math. you'll just have a few tough semesters. Lots of people hate math/can't do math and they get through college. I'm assuming your not a math major, right? You'll be fine. Just don't take a math class in the same semester as other hard classes. And study, study, study!
Reply:it depends on what your major is, mostly. If you're going for an engineering or science major, you may struggle with the rather heavy math at times (although it is manageable.) If you're going for a business major or another type of major, you shouldn't have any problems.
Reply:College reteaches a lot of things that you should have learned towards the end of your highschool career. This includes college algebra.. If you've been average in mathematics for most of your life, you will be perfectly fine. What are you majoring in, anyway? I think my college only required one math class if your major didn't require more. I don't understand why you would have to take Statistics or Physics if you don't like mathematics.
Reply:I got C's in math all through high school and even a couple of D's. Now I'm in law school. Hasn't hindered my education one bit.

The Patient Self-Determination Act is most closely relevant ot which of the following?

A Medical record confidentiality

B. Advanced directives

C. Doctor-patient privilege

D. Patient choice in managed care organizations

The Patient Self-Determination Act is most closely relevant ot which of the following?
B. Advanced directives.

The American Bar Association, on its website, summarizes it as follows (see Source, below):

"The PSDA [Patient Self-Determination Act] simply requires that most health care institutions (but not individual doctors) do the following:

"1. Give you at the time of admission a written summary of:

your health care decision-making rights (Each state has developed such a summary for hospitals, nursing homes, and home health agencies to use.)

the facility's policies with respect to recognizing advance directives.

"2. Ask you if you have an advance directive, and document that fact in your medical record if you do. (It is up to you to make sure they get a copy of it).

"3. Educate their staff and community about advance directives.

"4. Never discriminate against patients based on whether or not they have an advance directive. Thus, it is against the law for them to require either that you have or not have an advance directive."

Why do SOME breastfeeding women?

feel they have to lecture on the vurtues of breastfeeding to other mums who are not? We all know that breastmilk is better for the child and that in an ideal world we should all breastfeed for the first year , but sometimes it is not that easy. I had a c-sec, had infection suffered bad PPD. I managed to breastfeed for a month but was so exahusted I eventually went on to formula. By the look on the health visitors face u would have thought Id cut my babies head off!! and as for other mums, the smug "Im a better mother than you because Ive breast fed exclusively for 20 years" look on their faces and tones of their voice REALLY got up my nose!! I just wondered why people feel the need to belittle others like this?

Why do SOME breastfeeding women?
Yes, there are lactivists out there..and they will make us feel guilty. I couldn't breastfeed my son either. However, these women made me feel so guilty that I spent almost $500 on things to try to get my son to latch on and me to produce more milk. I ended up in tears and feeling like a bad mother because I couldn't produce more than a Tablespoon a day. Rather than blaming my body, I blamed myself for not trying hard enough, although I really don't know how much harder I could have tried. I was pumping eveyr 2-3 hours, every hour on weekends, offering the breast, taking herbs, massaging, taking warm showers before every pumping session...you name it!

Of course we feel guilty, but I think that some mothers think we didn't try hard enough to give our child the best. They might have been successful with their nursing experience, and that gives them a sense of accomplishment. Especially with all the hype about how bm is best, they feel that they are a bit superior to those offering their children the "inferior" formula.

These women still managed to get to me...and I was formula fed. I was always at the top of my class, graduated high school in the top 5%, then graduated with honors from college with a BA. I have been very successful at everything I do, yet I still felt like I was depriving my son of the best. Now that I'm being logical, I know that it's really nature AND nurture that plays a role in my son's development, and not just breastmilk.
Reply:I think that women who do this have issues... what's funny is these same women will look at other women who breastfeed passed the recommended time as if they are being ridiculous! Breast feeding is HARD! No one ever tells you that when you have a baby and MOST women intend to breastfeed, but not all women can physically or mentally do it! Maybe if you feel like people are looking down at you, you can remind them that you learned through these horrible circumstances that breastfeeding isn't for every one.. even give them a little guilt that they are able to and you can't! Either way... whether you breast feed or bottle feed, what is important is that you love your child! Each time you feed them, use the moments to bond a little more with your baby!

I guess a straight answer to your question is that some women belittle other women because they have pride in the fact that they did it and they don't understand that it is truely impossible for some people! They really feel like if women would just stick to it that they will be giving their baby something special and they lack education of the world of "no milk's land!"

Just one week of breast feeding makes a world of difference for an infant so a whole month is awesome when that's all you can do! So you should feel accomplished that you made it for the month you did and don't let anyone make you feel bad for doing everything you could do!
Reply:Well breastfeeding is best and if your child is the most important thing in your world, then surely they are worth the many discomforts that come with breastfeeding.

However if for health reasons you cannot, then at least in your heart of hearts you know that you have a genuine reason for not doing so you don't have to feel insecure about it.

Thanks for the thumbs down, what were you expecting? a PC answer, the truth sometimes can be bitter to swallow!
Reply:dont think it really matters what the topic is, when you involve a large group of people participating in something you will always get the fanatics that try to push their point of views onto you, whether its common knowledge or not. Fanatics of anything should be ignored. Their lives must be empty that they feel the need to foist their opinions and beliefs so strongly onto others
Reply:At least you managed a month. I only managed a week but when I was getting upset and my daughter was hungry and crying all the time I just thought forget this and after that I had a happy content baby. If you can do it good for you but if you can't what gives anyone the right to judge.
Reply:I know what you mean, it's upsetting hearing people questioning your parenting ability and love for your child just because you give your child formula. i've had to supplement the breast with formula because i'm have trouble producing enough milk. before that i found out i wasn't producing enough i was giving my daughter just the breast. she lost almost a whole pound because of it. after i found out i realized that the important thing is that she get's what she needs and is healthy. now she is gaining the weight back and sleeps better because she's satisfied. my pediatrician said that i'm doing the right thing. he said that some women still refuse to give formula even though their babies keep losing weight and that its a form of child abuse, and its true.
Reply:Yes, those are most of the time the mom's who raise their kids according to the book. They irritated me too, like you said, breastfeeding is the best for your child, but you've got a pretty good reason why you don't do it. I was also able to breastfeed my kid only for four weeks and than I had to stop, and guess what?!?! She is the healthiest little kid in her class, and there is nothing wrong with her.

DON'T LET THOSE "SUPERMOMS" DEPRESS YOU. THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO IT. As long as you give your baby all the love he or she deserves, you doing a great job.
Reply:I love this question..u actually beat me to it. I give my baby expressed milk and still whenever i post some questions, there are some smug who question why I'm not breastfeeding straight and it gets on my damn nerves. So what if u breastfeed or not? Its not like they are raising our child.. Anyway kudos to this question, to hell wit those who think they are better than us! And you smugs know who you are.. save the lecture for your own kids, we don't wanna hear them!!!!
Reply:Yeah, some people out there are just morons. All I can say is I have tried breastfeeding with all 3 of my kids. The boys had a difficult time, and I had to get them fed by other means. For my daughter, my body just wasnt making milk, and at 3 days, she had already lost 15% of her body weight, so we pumped and used formula. It was a lot of work, no doubt, but I couldnt let my babies just keep sucking and losing weight. All my kids are very healthy, my 14 month old has never been sick, my 3.5 yr old has never been on antibiotics, and my 11 yr old only gets an occasional cold. My sister breastfed much longer, and her kids are sick every 2 months or so, and on antibiotics like candy. So to those moms, What the frack ever. To each their own!
Reply:Yes, other parents can be so judgemental and holier than thou. I would just say, "Please remember that everyone's experience with breastfeeding is not the same, and for some people, the stresses of breastfeeding make bottle-feeding the only or more healthy choice."
Reply:I think part of this might be a bit of guilt/sadness on your side, and thereby distorting others reactions a bit. I mean, who is giving you this smug "I'm a better mom than you" look? You can tell just by your comment how judemental YOU are, saying they're happy to breastfeed exclusively for 20yrs. No one breastfeeds that long, sorry! Don't open yourself up for others judgements, and you'll be a lot happier.

HELP.............please?

ive managed to download a mp3 ringtone onto my p.c. right ,how do i get the tone transferred from my p.c to the mobile phone. is there a simple way to do it,as im a bit stumped now. cheers in advance .its a nokia 5200 ,and ive not got her a memory card yet if this helps.or makes a difference.

HELP.............please?
1,. To download a tone or image from computer just click on the given image in the website and follow the given instructions. Sometimes you have to write the given code number for the image on your phone and send it to another given number. There is normally a charge for it. However, if you go to Nokia.com and join the Nokia Club ( free) you can downloads a limited number ofr images etc. for free. Or, you can buy others too from their download section on Nokia.com.

2. It is certainly advisable to have a memory card in the phone. So you should get one. You can also check which one you need by checking the Nokia webiste's 'hardware section'.

3. If you want to download a image from computer to mobile, you need to have the USB wire and software/drivers etc. on your computer so it can recognise your mobile. Again you can get all these from the 'software' section on Nokia.com
Reply:You could get this cable "Nokia Connectivity Cable DKE-2" and then download Nokia PC Suite to transfer songs. You could also use bluetooth to transfer songs aswell. If your computer doesn't have bluetooth you could buy a bluetooth dongle.
Reply:i guess you can first install the cd that came with the phone. then plug in your phone to the pc via the data cable, also found with the phone. you can transfer the file to your phone by choosing that option from the roster of nokia applications that is in the cd.
Reply:What Kind Of Phone Do You Have?

Ah...it's the same as those Mothers who feel that they're better because they birthed without any pain control....as though foolishly putting up with agony makes you a better person.

Like you, I had an emergency c section after being in labour for 27 hours....I had no milk anyway after that....not that I let it bother me...I had grown a 9 pound baby girl and managed to survive the birth! That was enough for me!

When I lived in Australia there was a BIG culture of breast feeding and girls would look at me oddly for bottle feeding...they all had floppy old bags for boobs though...so I wasn't jealous! Lol....I'm not being mean....if you can breast feed great! If now great! Whatever...as long as you love the baby then it's fine!

Ive actually seen "NAtural Mothers" groups advertised...the stipulation for joining is that you had no pain releif and that you breastfeed exclusivly.....what a cheek! Still, if they all want to congratulate each other so much then good luck to em!
Reply:I see that the most pressing issue here is that you are not happy with how other mothers treat you. There are a lot of misinformed and rude people in this world and that's that. However, some of those rude, snobby women might be right. Not only is breastmilk better, but the shape of the n*pple helps the child's mouth develop properly. Some people claim that it will ensure that the child's teeth will grow in straight as well. That is simply not true. The shape of teeth depends on genetics. But in your situation, short of getting a wet nurse, there is nothing that can be done. Don't worry. There are plenty of good feeding bottles out there that you can use to feed your baby.
Reply:I breastfed all four of my children over a year including my twins. I had the opposite experience. I got a lot of comments like, "you're STILL nursing, Are you every going to wean, You know they won't let you breastfeed in kindergarten, Are you planning to follow them off to college etc. It really got to me with my first baby I would get so upset. With my twins I just ignored the comments. When BFing my 4Th I had come up with some snappy comebacks.

Feeding your baby should be a personal choice. I hope I never made anyone feel the way people have made you feel. All a baby really needs is love and security. As long as you are doing that I would recommend ignoring other peoples comments. Good Luck.
Reply:I dont intentionally try to make anyone feel bad but I do worry about the babies. There can be alot of bad side effects from formula- especially cows formula.

On a side note, I'd like to ask why a formula feeding mom who was comfortable with her decision, cared what a breastfeeding mom thought?
Reply:Some people just like to feel superior to others.

B/c of a medical conditon I am not able to breastfeed,I've actually had some people tell me I didn't try hard enough.

You know screw them. My daughter is 9 years old now, healthy and smart, she wasn't overweight as a baby or sickly.

The bad thing is I would have like to but sometimes life doens't work the way you want it to.

As long as you love and take care of your baby you are a good mom.
Reply:I have breastfed my baby for six months and never told anyone to do it as well , as that is very much personal choice, and believe me it is very hard. i had so much problem in the begining, every person arround me told me to not to do it, but i always wanted to breastfeed my baby so i didnt gave up, but never ever told any one to do it or gave lectures for it. But i know people tell others to do it.
Reply:Because they are still convinced that there is a gold medal out there for "Mom of the Year" and they are going to earn it.

I am pro-BFing but I can completely empathize with exhausted and frustrated moms.

As long as someone can make an informed choice I can't fault them. I know I can't control everyone but I would really like to see moms give breastfeeding more of a chance. That being said I respect those who try so hard and have to give formula in the end. It must be so taxing and to be able to stand up for your choice to switch must not be an easy one.
Reply:I'm sorry you've had this experience. My mum's group were a really laid back bunch, we ALL had epidurals and every drug we could lay our hands on, and all have a very relaxed attitude to bringing up our babies.

Most of us breastfed, apart from a couple who had problems similar to yours and one who chose not to. I think there is a BIG difference between doing your best to continue with bf and choosing to give it up because it is too much effort.

I really believe that mums should do their best to bf but if its not working for you, your baby and your partner, then don't feel guilty about stopping. Your sanity is WAY more important than a few added antibodies to your bub's immune system!

Good luck with everything, I hope it all picks up for you.
Reply:Ive had 2 c secs my first little girl i breast fed for a week then had no milk the second little girl i breast fed for 4 months but she wanted more, all i can say is has you baby suffered from formula? Both mine thrived if formula was that bad they wouldnt sell it. Dont let people make you feel bad cos your choosing whats right for you and your baby.At the moment im 26 weeks pregnant and plan to breast feed my little man but if it gets too much i will go to formula without concern over peoples reactions. It bothered me the first time but im stronger than they are and i know the health of my baby is number one. Stuff what they think just do whats best for you cos in the end that is whats best for your baby.
Reply:I personally think that breastfeeding exclusively for 20 years is overdoing it but...that's not the question. :)

Know that even breastfeeding mothers feel that all-so-powerful mother guilt and that may be why some feel the need to lecture others on the benefits of something they happen to be doing. Guilt. It's something we mothers have in common from the moment of conception.

I have had a difficult time with breastfeeding too. Lack of supply for me. I've made it work but that doesn't mean I forget what it's like to struggle with it. Why isn't it easier?

I think that's the problem. It is really easy for some women and they assume it's that way for all -if not, you MUST have done something wrong. That isn't helpful. And we mothers do not need to be undercutting each other. We do it enough to ourselves.

It also could be that breastfeeding really can be a special thing for a mom/child and naturally others want to share that experience with others and those moms are oblivious to what it feels like to struggle with it and just not be able to make it work out.

The bottom line is this. For you, an exhausted mom who's PPD is exacerbated because of breastfeeding then it may not be best for you and your baby. YES, breastfeeding may not be best for all in every situation. First and foremost you've got to survive the moment. If breastfeeding makes you feel so exhausted that you want to dig a hole, crawl in and never come out then that is not surviving. You can't be a very effective mother in a hole in the ground.

That said, I didn't make breastfeeding work for my first child either. But, I learned some things along the way and have made it work wonderfully for my second and third.

Don't feel bad. Those women haven't been where you've been or experienced what you've experienced in the same way you did. They also obviously don't know what it feels like to not have success with it or they wouldn't say what they say. Just shake it off and don't be afraid to try again the next time.

What to do?

so, i have a relationship with the best guy i have ever met and probably will ever met.. the only problem with the relationship is that it is a long distance one...

i wanna be with him physically so bad.. but i cant cos i have to study and he has his commitments...and so i get upset and im sad most of the time... i spend all summer with him and this year he visted me for 2 weeks.. and i will visit in march for 3 weeks... we plan on discussing what is gonna happen to the relationship cos im really frustrated with the distance...

the only 3 solutions i came up with are

a. we stay together and hope one day we will be together, and try %26amp; hopefully manage to inc the times we c each although v hard

b. we break up all though i love him very much and he loves me too

c. we break up... and see what happens when im like finished with my studies and stuff.. i know that there is a possibility in 5 years that he finds someone else, or i find someone else. or we dont feel like we do now

What to do?
I understand that completely!

But why break up a relationship when it's goting perfectly well and you're both in love? Well, it could save you future heart-ache and let's face it, it's inevitable. But if you're meeting up soon, then you might as well enjoy that when it comes around.

It depends how old you are and how far you live apart. But I would advise not to give up hope just yet. It's like saying: "Well I can't be bothered. I'll go find someone who is 'simple' cause they live in the place that I do." I'm sure neither you nor him could get over it that easily.

You will break up. It's fact. But to make it easier, you can look back on all the great memories you shared, instead of having no memories and wondering what could have happened if you had stuck around long enough.

So see how it goes. Remember to keep your studies up cause they are very important, but have fun on the side!

Good luck and have a nice time in March (:
Reply:Definately "A". I know you are miserable now... but how miserable would you be if you weren't together at all? As for "C", there is ALWAYS a possibility you will find someone else. Wait, and cross that bridge when you come to it.

Enjoy the time you do have together... even if it just every so often.
Reply:It really depends on yall if you love each other it could be worked out.
Reply:a or c

Computer Management, Combining Hard Drives?

I'm trying to combine my 2 hard drives to increase perfomance, but when I goto My Computer -%26gt; Manage, I have 2 disks

Disk C and Disk D, Both are Dynamic Disks, Disk C has 16% of Memory left, and Disk D Is formatted but has 99% memory left.

When I go to New Volume Wizard, to make Disk D (Which is Unallocated) into a Stripped Drive, The only option available is Simple Drive.

I would probably choose c, because until you are garunteed being able to see him physically, relationships are extremely hard to keep. good luck!

Do you think he has lost interest?

Out of the many guys who approached me this semester so far, there is this one who I fancy a lot. We hit if off from the start %26amp; he gave me his number. For the first few weeks, he called %26amp; texted me often. We hung out on campus a lot, %26amp; he started giving me these extra long hugs. People kept askin me when we were gonna start goin out. His friends even asked me about him when he wasn't around. He stopped answerin my text messages but that was from him losing his phone. When he got it back, he started textin me again. Recently, I haven't seen him as much b/c of his change in schedule, but I managed to see him once this week %26amp; he was flirting with me like crazy and asked me to give him a massage. I'm confused b/c I heard that he was talkin about how interested he was in me to friends yet its been over a month and it seems like hes losing interest. Also, I wrote on his wall on facebook yesterday but no reply. He keeps writin on this other girl's wall who has a bf with cute messages. Help!

Do you think he has lost interest?
The guy is playing the field. No need for him to commit one way or the other yet. Thats why they call it "dating." He may be interested in you, but also interested in someone else. He's just choosing which is the lesser of the 2 evils. J/K.
Reply:He hasn't lost interest, he just wants his cake and eat it too, it sounds like you're in college or high school. at that age, guys are very interested in sex...The girl may have a bf but if she is giving him a vibe that he could have her if he wanted to then he will jump at the chance to be intimate with her. Stop trying to contact him. He'll come around.
Reply:Sounds like you have a big problim, he is probaly not interested.

Have you ever heard out of sight, out of mind? On campus you meet new people all the time and find many new interest. Don't think something is wrong with you or you did something wrong, it is normal to meet a lot of people at first and not stay in touch, especially with different schedules and interest. If he is trying to mess with someone he knows is involved with someone else, you don't want to mess with him. That would not be a good start, just enjoy meeting new people and focus on yourself and classes for now. When the feelings are mutual you will find a way to stay in touch with each other, no matter what your schedules. Good luck and have fun.
Reply:yea, i would say he is maybe a little afraid to ask you out, so maybe he is getting ready to give up... becuase YOU wont ask HIM out... make the next move, you'll be rewarded!
Reply:Just ask him out. It's obvious that he likes you. maybe he is just writing on the other girls wall to make you jealous. He may think that you are the one that is losing interest in him.
Reply:go with women
Reply:If you want to be with the dude, simply ask him out.

How can i manage my time without staying up till 2am everyday!?

i am very very bad at managing my time between school/studying , organizing/cleaning, dance/exercising..i actually stayed home from my classes today because i stayed up sooo late this whole week [2am everyday, 4 hours of sleep] and my body couldnt handle it...so what should i do, to well be perfect and manage time!?

i missed 3 exams today just b/c of fatigue when i got up this morning!

How can i manage my time without staying up till 2am everyday!?
Between classes you should try to study, eliminating some of the time you study when you get home. Also try going to sleep earlier, so you can wake up earlier and do you exercises then, it will give you more energy if you exercise earlier. Move you cleaning to the weekend, maybe do it in the mornings, or friday evening.
Reply:You need to cut out an activity like exercising which could be incorporated into cleaning. You can get exercise by cleaning. You need to focus on your studies so that you can pass your exams so that you can get a good job. Get a study planner.
Reply:Cut out dance/exercising and work it into your organizing cleaning. What's more important your school/studying or dance/exercising? You have to give up one and concentrate on what's left.
Reply:dude! 2am! What is your secret! I have to stay up till 3am.
Reply:say you do 8 hours of work a day cut out dance exercise just do one hour a day or 30 minutes i dont think you need to clean up alot just dont mess it up and it will only be like fifteen minutes a day if you get up at 8 and go to sleep at twelve youll have sixteen hours a day so do that and youll still have like six hours free time a day
