I hate my B+ in Advanced Biology. How can I get my teacher to get me an A?

The biology course I took over the past two semesters in high school was even hard indeed since the tests were challenging enough to put anyone a situation struggling for a "C". I've worked very hard this semester and I only managed to get an 89.95% average (the previous semester I attained the only "A" 89.99%) I recieved the score for my semester final and out of 200 questions I disappointly only answered 173 correct (86.5%). I can't deal with these failures because I wanted that "A" but after all the hard work it seems like I won't reach my goals.

Also, high school doesn't take into account minuses or plusses so I'm stuck with the same grade with someone with a lower B

Work harder and study more, or find a science genius to help you
Reply:Look, you can't be so hard on yourself because the stress from that WILL kill you. You will not be able to "get your teacher to get you an A", but just remember that you did the best you could and that grade isn't a bad one.
Reply:You are doing great! The only thing that you can do is try a little harder if you MUST have an A. Your teacher is not going to or have given you anything. Your good grade is a product of your own hard work. I say this again, your B is still a good grade. Don't give up!
Reply:work hard. do all the assignments. pick up extra credit points if available.
Reply:the only thing you can do in life is to work harder. sorry, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Reply:sleep with the teacher ;)
Reply:Stop being such a staunch perfectionist... You'll live much longer.
Reply:well, i dont know why you hate it, b+is good, i hate b-,

well anyway, you could do some extra credit work, so if you do poorly on it, it wont count but if you do good it will count and make your grade higher
Reply:If your teach isn't all hung up on meeting the required percentages for an A .... you might try a bj.
Reply:It's really great that you want to do well. And, obviously, you usually reach your goals. That's just great! But, learning to deal with failure (although I'd hardly call this failure) is an important part of maturing. When you get to college, you'll find that there will be courses that will be even harder to ace. If you get an occasional B, don't worry, noone but you will even notice.

Remember, that B in Advanced Biology is worth more than an A in the regular Biology class. So cut yourself some slack and have a little fun over the summer.
Reply:You need to work on yourself, not your teacher. Your grade isn't important. What's important is what you know and how well you know it. Your grade will soon be forgotten forever, at least by everyone else. Work on joining the rest of the world and forget about your grades. Knowledge and effort are all that matter. An A won't make you happy, but hard work, knowledge and their results will.

Good luck.
