Maths A Level?

Im going to be repeating the year again for Maths A level and other subjects. Problem is i dont think its me but the school. ALL our year fails in every subject i only attended 1/4 of GCSE and managed to get 11 GCSE's all Grade C and above. However without considering this the school says im not capable of maths. This is the funny thing a friend of mine who attended my school last year got a U for both maths and physics, He changed to a college and got an A and a D for maths (A) physics (B). He says the college is more professional and less time wasting. However i said this to my maths teacher and he said well he was always talented at maths and this is just a rarity.

Should i really drop maths or continue my dream of going into Quantum Mechanics?

I can do the maths in the class perfectly however in exams i cant seem to do any of it. Same goes for my ICT im a learning programmer and able to pro gramme simple/semi complex programs and Mods. Yet i fail at ICT/Computing. Advise please?

Maths A Level?
u should not be thinking of dropping maths .it is very essential in every fields of study.the fact about maths is that one don't have to be majestically talented to get an a .it is obvious from your details that u rarely practise maths on ur own. in maths students learn from their errors.if u understand the mechanisms of each step of maths and practice past papers u can do well.as for ur friend ,if anyone start feeling about a subject form the heart no one can stop his success
